God delights in the prayers of His people and God responds to prayer. What would happen if millions gathered to unite hearts in prayer? Sunday is the Global Day of Prayer. Millions from around the world will unite to pray. There will be people gathering in homes, churches, stadiums, and public locations. We encourage you to devote some conccentrated time in prayer that day. In Harford County, there will be people gathering in several locations: click here for more information. You can also check out the Global Day of Prayer website: www.globaldayofprayer.com.
In addition, churches around Harford County are committing to 10 days of round the clock prayer. Just today EPIC was asked to cover Saturday, the 26th. We are asking people at EPIC to select an hour during the day to devote to prayer starting 12AM Saturday morning-11:59PM Saturday night. Please email Brian at brian@epiccommunitychurch.org to let us know what hour you are willing to take. We ask you to spend some time praying for our local community (for God’s will to be done in our community, for the struggles and needs in the community, for God to open doors for the Gospel to be shared, for unity in the church, for a deeper passion for God, and for a renewed commitment to share the Gospel among our neighbors) and for the world (pray for unity in the global church, pray for unreached people around the world, pray for doors to be opened in hard to reach places especially in South Asia where EPIC will be going, pray for the persecuted church, and pray for God’s glory among the nations).
