We just experienced an awesome Easter weekend at EPIC. We had over 400 people in our 2 services and a ton of kids for our Easter egg hunt in between services. We baptized several people and numerous others indicated a desire to give their lives to Jesus.
We have several exciting things coming up at EPIC. First, we are joining a bunch of other churches to serve the community through an event called Servefest. We are leading 6 projects in the Aberdeen and Edgewood area. If you have not signed up you can still do so on Sunday or by emailing Brian (brian@epiccommunitychurch.org). Second, EPIC is going to South Asia! As a church we believe that God has called us to engage in missions among unreached people groups (people with little or no access to the Gospel). Please mark your calendars for May19th when we will experience an all-day training event. We will discover a lot about South Asia and how we can be effective there in connecting with people, sharing the Gospel, making disciples, and planting churches.
Finally, we will begin a new sermon series exploring the message of Hebrews. Many things fight for our attention, allegiance & worship. But what is ultimately deserving of our devotion? Is Jesus really worth following? Join us as we dig into the message of Hebrews starting April 22nd!
