We meet at Ripken Stadium, which is convenient to 95 and right off of Rt 22 (the address is 873 Long Drive in Aberdeen). We meet here for a couple reasons. First, we don’t ever have to worry about parking and the view is beautiful:) Second, it is a integral part of the community and we have a passion to be involved in the community. Lastly, many people who have not been to church in a while have told us that it is much easier to check us out because the location puts them at ease. They don’t feel like they have to dress up or pretend to be something they are not.
On Sunday mornings we transform the club level into an innovative and welcoming place for our service. We have service on one side of the club level and a fun children’s ministry on the other side. When you check us out on Sunday, you will find signs directing you to the parking lot and the front gate. You will be greeted by friendly people who will direct you upstairs to the club level. Once you enter the club level there will be more friendly people to direct you, a welcome desk for any questions you may have, a kidcheck station to check your kids in, coffee and doughnuts, bulletins with information about that Sunday’s service and music playing. We also like to give a gift to all first time guests! We hope you will check us out this week!
