EPIC exists for the neighborhood and the nations. Locally, we are deeply involved in our community, share the Gospel with our neighbors, and plant churches in the northeast. Globally, we want to reach the unreached meaning that we want to engage in missions in hard to reach places. There are over 6,000 unreached people groups in the world. EPIC serves the global mission of Christ in Mexico and India (see more below).

LOCAL OUTREACH
Local Partnerships
We partner with several organizations to serve the community, address needs, and share the Gospel. Several of these organizations include Extreme Family Outreach, Choose Hope Pregnancy Center, Harford County Hope For The Homeless, and Fellowship Of Christian Athletes. We support each of these organizations financially.
Events
We regularly host events at our church and in the community for families and children. We join the city of Aberdeen at their Fall Fest, host VBS each summer, and put on a large Easter celebration in Festival Park.

Church planting is the fastest and most effective way to reach people who don’t know Jesus. So we are committed to planting new churches, especially in the northeast, one of the largest pockets of lost people in the world. We give to church plants each year and help to coach church planters.

This is a week long mission experience in Philadelphia for middle and high school students. MFuge is designed to give students a mission experience that opens their eyes to similar opportunities they may have to serve in their own communities, learning to live life each day on mission!

Mexico/LightShine
Lightshine is a ministry with a heart to reach the Tarahumara Indians, an unreached people group in Central Mexico. LightShine brings the hope of the gospel through children’s programs that meet the needs of Tarahumara families who live in poverty stricken slums in the city of Chihuahua, Mexico. LightShine also operates an orphanage for abused, neglected, and abandoned Tarahumara children. As part of our partnership, EPIC sponsors kids (much like Compassion International) to feed them, but more importantly, teach them the Gospel. Sponsors are able to write to their kids, send gifts and go on trips to visit them. In addition to sponsorships, EPIC sends multiple teams to Mexico each year.

We have sent 10 teams, trained hundreds of pastors, supported missionaries, shared Jesus with hundreds of people, and partnered with a local network of pastors to see many churches planted. The teams that we send support missionaries, host trainings for indigenous believers, train pastors, and share the Gospel.
