Hope Explored is a 3 week class where people can explore faith. It's for anyone searching, asking questions, and looking for hope. We offer these classes at various times for our community.
Extreme Family Outreach
Extreme Family Outreach is a ministry that works in local communities to provide after school programs to kids in underserved communities. We sponsor a site at Perrywood Gardens in Aberdeen.
Choose Hope
Choose Hope is a local crisis pregnancy center and we partner with them to promote the sanctity of life and help moms and dads with the resources they need.
Local Schools
We currently partner with local schools to provide support and encouragement to the administration, teachers, and students throughout the year. Our backpack ministry gives away free backpacks filled with school supplies to kids that need them. We also help families and students throughout the year with meals, clothes and presents.
Church Planting
Church planting is the fastest and most effective way to reach people who don’t know Jesus. So we are committed to planting new churches, especially in the northeast, one of the largest pockets of lost people in the world. We give a significant amount to church plants each year and help to assess and coach church planters.
MFUGE
This is a week long mission experience in Philadelphia for middle and high school students. "MFuge is designed to give students a mission experience that opens their eyes to similar opportunities they may have to serve in their own communities, learning to live life each day on mission!"
Mexico/LightShine
EPIC is in partnership with LightShine. Lightshine is a ministry with a heart to reach the Tarahumara Indians, an unreached people group in Central Mexico. LightShine brings the hope of the gospel through children’s programs that meet the needs of Tarahumara families who live in poverty stricken slums in the city of Chihuahua, Mexico. LightShine also operates an orphanage for abused, neglected, and abandoned Tarahumara children. As part of our partnership, EPIC will sponsor kids (much like Compassion International) to feed them, but more importantly, teach them the Gospel. Sponsors will be able to write to their kids, send gifts and go on trips to visit them. In addition to sponsorships, EPIC will send at least one team to Mexico each year and we will give out of EPIC’s annual budget to help meet the needs of the ministry.
India
There are more unreached people groups in India than anywhere else in the world. Since EPIC started we have been committed to sending teams, supporting missionaries and helping indigenous believers plant churches here. We have sent 10 teams, trained hundreds of pastors, supported missionaries, shared Jesus with hundreds of people, and partnered with a local network of pastors to see many churches planted. We usually send two teams to this region each year. These teams support missionaries, host trainings for indigenous believers, train pastors, and share the Gospel.
