The Link in the Ascension

The Ascension shows us the link between the ministry of Christ and the ministry of the church as prophet, priest, and king. Because followers of Christ are his captives, they share his identity and are able to rightly image God. When the building up of the church is complete, Christ will return to dwell with his people forever and the Garden will cover the whole earth.
