What People Are Saying About EPIC Kids

Our family has been extremely blessed by EPIC  Kids. We love hearing what our kids learn each Sunday. They feel very loved by their teachers. They are always excited to go to Sunday School. We’ve also enjoyed so many wonderful books from the children’s library at EPIC. The kids ministry team truly does a fantastic job to help our kids grow in their love for Jesus!
The Chetelet Family

"My son has been coming to EPIC for many years and loves the EPIC kid's area! He has developed true friendships with other kids and learned so much from the teachers who faithfully share God's Word week after week.  The EPIC kid's community has been such an important part of his spiritual growth over the past few years. Thank you!"
The Llewellyn Family

"EPIC Kids is such a blessing to our grandchildren, further reinforcing the values and love for Jesus that Grammy and Poppy share with them."
The Gartners

"Being a military family it is very difficult for us to find somewhere where we can be spiritually fed but also feel comfortable with our children being involved in the kids programs when we don't know anyone at a new church.  Everyone here is so welcoming and we appreciate the measures taken to ensure the safety of our kids, as well as, the dedication to teaching the kids more about Jesus.  There are always supplementary resources to help families continue learning more at home (Christmas Advent daily devotionals, Bible reading schedules, reading in preparation for Easter, helpful books, and more). We have experienced so much growth as a family since we have started attending EPIC and are incredibly thankful for their ministry.

"There are numerous aspects of the EPIC children's ministry that I could list but one that I would like to focus on is the intentionality of this ministry.  The kids are continuously prayed for by the staff and volunteers, that the children would grow in their understanding of the gospel message of Jesus.  The lesson plans are carefully selected so the kids are learning God's entire story from Genesis to Revelation. This framework shows them how God's big story ultimately points us to Jesus, His never ending love for us and our need for him as our personal savior. Also, there is incredible safety and protection for these kids. This includes regular staff and volunteer training to make sure policies and procedures are followed and if improvements or issues need to be addressed. There is also an amazing security team for the church that makes sure everyone inside the church building is safe. Finally, church service involves the kids so they feel seen by the church family. They begin the church service with their families and the whole family gets to sing and worship together. Sometimes my kids find their friends in church and love to sing and worship with them. The teaching pastor expresses his delight in having the kids take part in the first part of the service and then dismisses them to their classroom. Whenever there's a baptism, the kids come from their classroom to experience the sacrament of baptism. Several of the kids who were baptized thank their Sunday school teachers because of the amazing impact they have on these young kids' lives."
